They were middle to low end in the early to mid 00s, it looks brand new, I wouldn’t pay more than a hundred bucks. You can a nice used modern bike for cheap on marketplace that may be more of what you’re looking for.

I’d have love that thing when I was 11. That said there are probably newer bikes that will weigh a good bit less for a kid. I got my kid a used Fit Misfit for a little less than this bike.
IF its not far from you let your kid test ride it and see if you can get the seller to come down a little on the price. These were fairly tough old bikes especially for a kid.

  3. It’ll be fine to start out on. It’s not stupid heavy and it’s better than what most 11 year old ride around.

  4. The thing is, it’s worth holding on to in such good condition, rather than ride tbh as there won’t be many if any in such good original condition.

That’s more of a vintage weekend cruiser or era piece at this point . The geometry and parts of bmx bikes these days are a lot better. It’s a starting point but he’ll for sure have a lot more fun on a lighter and more modern bike. The bike looks new . I would buy it just have. I always wanted a mosh .

Man my first “real” bmx was a mosh bagley 4 star same color. Christmas 2001, This bring back memories

  7. If it weren’t brand new 140 would be laughable, but that thing is completely unused, so I’d aim for. 100, or 120

Save the kids back and get him a newer bike. Even if it’s for cruising, a newer bike will be better. This would be good for a mosh collector
