In October and November 2024 I spent 61 days cycling around the northern regions of Italy covering just under 3000km. I chose to cycle all of Italy to breakaway from a repetitive life I found myself in. I wanted to do something that would be a challenge and let me improve my Italian, visit family, see a beautiful country, and hopefully find the perfect spot to buy and renovate a cheap cabin someday, as well as raise money for a charity meaningful to me.
I will be setting off in March 2025 to complete remaining regions in the south and finish the challenge. I had to break the trip in two due the 90-day limit in the EU. After Italy, I’ll be cycling all of Scotland for similar reasons, but my Italian might not prove very useful up there…
In this video you will witness the best homeless porridge recipe there is, only things missing were oat/soy milk and a banana.
I’ll also be uploading daily videos of my cycling progress on my socials linked below when I’m back out there. As part of the challenge I’m also raising money for charity, also linked below.
