All the talk about bar width over the last few years so why are the ladies using such wide bars??
I find the women's selection somewhat boring this year. All of them haved raced juniors successfully, at least – why do you need this academy to discover them? I do understand that teams have learned from preious rounds that it makes no sense to have somebody that has zero road racing experience because they lack basic bike handling skills. But this seems to be the other extreme. Men's side is more interesting in that respect.

I have to say though, it must be hard for the riders to do this on bikes they aren't used to.
I'd wager the "about to cramp" after the 8 min effort came down to differences in bike fit and specific muscles getting overworked.

Why don't they at least give the finalists the bikes as a reward for making it this far? As if Canyon would care about that financially.
I've never watched Zwift Academy before, I never thought I'd find it interesting. But in the past couple of years, I've become totally hooked on watching racing, which is in itself a surprise to me! 🤣So after seeing all the trailers you put out and feeling the excitement and anticipation for this year's ZA, I thought I'd give it a watch this year. And I was not disappointed! I found it fascinating, I love hearing the thoughts of the coaches in particular. I think it gives a lot of insight into more than just these riders hoping to become pros, but also about pro racing itself, especially for those of us that have only just started watching. Thanks guys – GCN has me hooked every time! 🤩

I expect Gaffu to have better FTP and durability than Noah, who on the other hand is very likely better at handling the bike and on even shorter efforts. Anyway, these are just speculations, let's see them in action and discover what the team is gonna value the most 🙂

And once again, Si's vocal fry makes it difficult to listen to the video anytime he speaks on camera. I did notice that the bits where he was narrating were much different, so maybe when he's in the studio recording that bit, they make a point of telling him to knock it off.
