Hey all! Not my bike, trying to understand if this is a good purchase or not.
Beautiful Zaskar bike near me, but no idea what it’s actually worth. I know almost nothing about biking history, components, and what is really sought after, I just know I’ve always like GTs.
Also it’s a 16” frame, any ideas on if that would be good for someone 5’8 and 5’6? I’d ride it mainly, but my gf would when we ride together and I’d ride my other bike that’s too big for her

That’s a sweet rig. Built by someone who knows their stuff. New Brooks B17, Panracers, Ritchey bars, etc. I think around $400+ is fair for this bike. More or less depending on the demand in your area.
The only downside of this imo is the stiff as hell aluminum frame. Not for touring.
In my community this would be well over $1000. Granted that’s in CAD, but Brooks saddle, Race Face crankset, etc. are swanky and expensive upgrades. This was someone who loves bikes.
Looks like it has a carbon fork on it too, either it’s listed for significantly less than it’s worth, or it’s too expensive to justify buying someone else’s parts bin dump
That’s a clean looking build. Folks wanna hate on new bike prices but a $500 new bike wouldn’t have 1/2 the class as this setup. Which is why I don’t sell my bikes 😅
