These cheap ones are often unlabeled, which is fine when used to assemble the thing they came with, but is risky otherwise. There are many sizes between metric and imperial that are close enough, but using the wrong size can round-off the bolt.
I don’t do much in the way of working on my bike anymore, but when I did, I *only* used a set where I knew the sizes were metric so I didn’t risk it. Actually, in general, I try to be really specific and careful and toss these once I am finished with it

oh heck no! I have a whole drawer in my toolbox filled with allen wrenches like that. I can’t bring myself to throw them away, so they just pile up.

“Free” assembly tools are worth exactly what you paid for them, and generally just clutter up a toolkit.
If you don’t already have that size, then it might be a good thing, but once you do have a real tool in that size, you’ll never use the “free” ones again. Recycle it and enjoy the flow of the real deal.

Haha, not me. I kinda hate it because 1) I’ll just use a Wera (once built a bookshelf with Silca wrenches cuz I forgot my meds that day maybe) and 2) I feel bad about throwing them out, so I don’t, which means I have a box of these.
Edit: Upvoted because it’s definitely a cyclist thing, and I have used them on bikes back in the day.
