It seems like I just fitted two tubeless Conti tyres in about 15 minutes.
They went on by hand with minimal resistance. Then they mounted & inflated first time with no soapy lubricant & I didn’t even have to remove the valve core.
Normally it takes about an hour each, lots of wrestling, soapy stuff, compressor, vicious swearing, cuts, grazes, sealant everywhere & a cat being kicked across the yard.
Did I dream it?

If you did not dream it I will need to pickup some new conti tires man they are a royal pain
must be manufacturer defect
My road bike has 32mm GP5000s and they go on super easy. Once I learned how to put tires on nothing has really given me any issues. Was the difficulty a small tire thing?
Amen, how wide do the tires measure? What inner width do you use? I’m currently putting a list together to get something similar. Your shit looking so fine I might pull the trigger early than I wanted
Your rim BSD is likely too small and probably doesn’t meet ETRTO standards. What pressure did the tire seat at?
Hmmm, I’ve never had an issue with any of my RaceKings before. Seems like I’m either in the minority here or just do it so much I’m numb to it now
Nope, I had the same experience with Conti Terra Trail 40mm and Campy Levante wheels. Everyone told me it was the toughest part of running tubeless but for me it worked by hand, first try, no compresor.
I mounted some 700 by 40s the other day for the first time and it was a breeze and they held sealant perfectly overnight. I just got lucky.
