Alright, I’m a glutton for punishment and feedback was really helpful last time so trying this again. In my quest to find something that works for tall and skinny (6’4” 165lb) and based on prior feedback, I tried a few PNS jerseys.
First, shipping was ridiculous. FedEx from Denmark to DC in 3 days for free. That was great.
I tried Essential and Mechanism short sleeve and long sleeve 2 medium and 2 small. Found the sizing to be unpredictable. Like, the Mechanism medium was tighter than the Mechanism small. The thing that may not come across in the pics is that all of them were only like an inch below the top of the bib shorts. Belly button was out on all of them if I lifted my arms. That’s too short, right??
1. Mechanism long sleeve black/grey small: This was my favorite. I was amazed that the sleeves were long enough and surprised that with sleeves that long the body was so short, seriously, arms up a little and it was a crop top. I know these sleeves are meant to be bunched up a bit, but I’ll take what I can get.
2.Essential Dark Turquoise Small: thought this one was decent too but too short
3. Mechanism dark blue medium: this was the tightest fucking thing that has ever touched my body. My kidneys had to take shelter inside my ball sack.
4. Essential long sleeve petroleum medium: the sleeves were crazy on this one. Super short and baggy. I would blame it on my skinny arms, but the sleeves on the Mechanism long sleeve were nice and tight (although that could be the difference between small and medium).
So I think I’m going to return them all and maybe try the Mechanism long sleeve in a medium. Although afraid sleeves will be too loose… or maybe I’ll just stop cycling altogether.
… By the way, kept the medium Rapha Core Jersey that I posted last time and have worn it for a bunch of 10-30 mile rides and have been pretty happy with it functionally. Maybe very slightly too loose. Aesthetically, the short, short sleeves feel awkward and it still feels uncomfortably short.

1 & 2 look good.
In general, I’m not a fan of all black kit because of low light visibility. I like #2 but it’s kinda hard to objectively tell how different 2 & 3 are because the white balance in the two photos is so different.
1 & 2 look good, but you are one lanky boy my dude haha
3 anyday. I love mechanism, it´s tight and proper racefit, not the most suitable for a chilly coffee ride or if you do offroad. But if you enjoy pushing out in the tarmac, it really feels great aero, and light.
