Hello redditers, just received my canyon endurace cf sl 7 sram etap ;
1- i discovered in the first picture this cable hole in the frame that shouldn’t be there because my shifting is electronic. I contacted Canyon, they said they’re going to provide Plugs- is this normal?
2- what is the screw doing at the back of the frame? What is it for? See second picture
Thank you so much in advance !

Yes just like the pic there should be a plug, your frame could be used with a mechanical groupset so that’s where the cable would go.
The screw is where the front derailleur cable (mechanical groupset) comes out.

The plug might’ve fell out during shipping. Most frames still have ports for mechanical cable routing – this is normal.
They’re not going to create mold and press a new carbon frame for you just because the end user selects a different drivetrain. This is not how at scale manufacturing works.
