  1. Is there any identification on the cranks? Brand name etc? Or contact the Bike Brand that you have and let them know what you need.

  2. Take your crank to a hardware store and you’ll find something that’ll work. I’ve done that before for sprocket bolts.

  3. Your crank arm keys the sprocket with a peg, usually they’re welded on but yours is threaded. You can’t just jam a bolt in there since it’s not on the same plane as the sprocket, you’ll need to come up with a spacer.

    I mean, it’d be a big upgrade if you just went with new cranks. Even a budget set with hollow arms would be a noticeable difference.
