Finally got my new bike, after a slight delay with postage. They somehow lost the package for a week and a half even with tracking.
If you look at pictures 3 and 4 there is white residue between rim and tire, can I assume that it is tubeless?
Took it only for a short ride today to see how it feels, since it's 0 degrees Celcius (32F) i didn't want to drop it on day one. Seat height feels good but front derailleur needs a tiny bit of adjustment because I can hear the chain coming in contact with it.
Looking forward to ride more when there is no more ice on the road. 😃

  1. Congrats! That valve stem looks like it is from a tube, not tubeless. For tubeless the nut would be hard against the rim and typically have a rubber washer to help seal it.

No, the wheels wouldn’t be set up as tubeless from the manufacturer. Not sure what the residue might be.

  3. I have the Midnight Navy colorway of this bike, and I love it. Had this olive green on order but it was borked and ended up taking the one that the LBS had available. Like them both, but this color is really sharp looking. Congrats!

  4. If you have a GRX system look for the trim function, this could explain the contact and how to avoid it. And: Have fun!
