Stage 3 of Etoile de Besseges was a rainy one that came to a neutralization due to cars on course. This led to several teams withdrawing from the race due to safety concerns, including Soudal Quickstep and Paul Magnier, who wore the overall race leaders jersey.
Due to treacherous conditions, most riders wore rain jackets so the sprint was hard to point out riders, however Belgian Champ Arnaud De Lie of Team Lotto took his first victory of 2025 and now wears the leaders jersey going into stage 4
