I went away for a weekend riding and noticed a huge amount of chain slap that I hadn’t noticed in previous weeks. In the 5 smallest gears the chain slaps the derailleur itself.
Ive done the following
– Checked chain length according to Shimano 12 speed guideline I found in a previous thread
– checked b tension
– removed derailleur and reinstalled
The derailleur is only a few months old and has been working perfectly, Other than attempting to service the clutch I’m out of ideas. Any ideas?

I would recommend shortening it by a link or two, it looks too long. Also, are you using your clutch? That can help with chain tension.
