Clearance on the front is rated for 54mm and 50mm on the back, so I decided to try to put a Conti Race King Protection on the front, which is 2.2″ (56mm).

Great tire.
Granted the tires aren’t made for it, but if watch out for mud getting stuck since the clearance is tighter. I thought I remember reading that mud clearance is one of the considerations when setting width maximums.
