What do people expect this will offer for GRX 1x?
Looking like fully wireless, microspline freehub, similar cassette ranges to mechanical GRX 1x (so up to 10-51). Doesn’t seem to be UDH compatible. Anything else? Should we expect any positive surprises?
I’m a bit Shimano fan and half holding off on a new bike to see this, but to be honest feels a bit underwhelming, just brings Shimano up to where SRAM have been for years, and still behind Red?

Maybe this is why they didn’t release a 1x setup with the new GRX825. Looks like the gearing options match up pretty well to the GRX822 1x mechanical. Why make two derailleurs I guess?
