I got this Revelate Mag Tank top tube bag and since my bike doesn't have top tube braze-ons, I got the velcro attachment. For whatever reason they put inches of extra velcro on the tube strap, and there is no way to easily wrap it or hide it. I could cut it, but I hate cutting stuff, especially on expensive bike bags. That will also made it harder to secure with less to grab onto. I could tape it onto the bag, but that looks teashy. I don't know why they made it so long. Are there frames that are that girthy?

How much more would it suck if it was too short?
I had the same issue with mine. I just cut it to my preferred length and it’s been great, would highly recommend.

I’ve got several bags with excess in the velcro straps. I think they allow for oversized frame tubes and expect you to cut what you don’t need.
I’m pretty sure they say on the website or with the packaging to trim the excess…
You have the smallest diameter top tube of just about any bike. Some bikes have top tubes that would use all that velcro.
Oversized tubing. This is the 21st century, everything is fatter than it needs to be. Trim it if its too long for your frame…
