    Just take things slow. Put the bike in an easy gear. Don’t try to set any records. Go at a speed that requires about as much effort as walking. For me that’s still over 20 km/h which is plenty fast enough for a commute. You might be faster or slower depending on your fitness level and your bike. The breeze helps to cool you quite a bit, even in a heat wave.
