I noticed this little dent on the chainstays. Is it something I should be concerned about? I don‘t know where it came from either, didn‘t notice it until now.

Yes, dents on forks means it isn’t safe to ride.
It might fold in the next pothole or be fine for 20 years.
Edit: ok, it is the rear triangle. It isn’t as dangerous, I still recommend replacing the frame, but I would ride it.
Aluminum is generally less tolerant of dents than steel but it’s probably fine.
I’m no expert, but I personally would ride it without worrying.
Triangles are strong when intact… it’s probably fine…….
