Been sick all week, now feeling a bit better so I wanted to do a trainer session. I needed to swap a cog on the trainer wheel bc of my chain length right now. It was hella tight and after a while of muscling it, I’m giving it another go and the chain whip just blows out! I saw a spark and a piece goes flying into the next room. Had to rotafix to get it off which took a fraction of the effort lol

Yea did this to mine too. Replaced the broken chain with an old chain and a metal pin I had laying aroud
Replace it with 1/8″ chain… these usually come with 3/32… build back better.
Sounds like it’s time for a Runwell cog tool.
Just put a tough single speed chain where it came off. I put a Izumi on the end of mine and it’s been great since
