  1. Bleed your breaks and the problem will be gone. I had the same issue wirh my magura mt7. But maybe you have to bleed the system a third time too.

  2. Needs a bleed. I’d start with a lever bleed and if that doesn’t fix it do a full bleed.

    You can try burping (bleeding) the brakes. Make your brake lever level, open the bleed screw on the lever and squeeze a few times. You should see some bubbles come out. Top up with a little fluid and repeat until you see no more bubble. Reinsert screen and fix lever position.

    Note: Depending on the bleed screw potion, you’ll need to rotate the lever so the screw is the highest point in the system.

  4. No offense but… those are 700€ brakes. If you can’t diagnose and repair this yourself you’d be better off paying a fraction of that for a professional to set and bleed them than risking ripping a membrane (like me) or something more expensive trying to learn how to do it yourself.

    Better yet, warranty them if they’re like this out of the box without trimming hoses, it’ll be free and probably come with a discount coupon if you write sternly.
