5 foot 8 with a 31 inseam. Is a 52 too small?

I’m looking at this bike but I’m scared 52 would be too small. I currently own a tommaso imola 54 and it feels a little big although I hear they are fitted big.

Should I just wait out for a canyon endurance 7 to come in stock at 54?

Is alloy vs carbon such a huge difference?

My budget is around 2k. I know everyone’s going to say look for a used bike but I’m up in NOVA and everything is so overpriced.
