Cannot for the life of me get the front wheel to swing forward. I've checked the most common error of not extending the seat enough.
But it will just not come off the rear hook. I think it's because the courier has put extra plastic there to avoid it getting scratched (see pic).
What else could I be missing?

Make a video!
Tip it a bit backwards holding the saddle and the stem and try to pull the handle forward. You should see the hook lifting off when tipping it back.
If I understand what you’re saying, the rear end has to pivot out some for the hook holding the front to separate. Indeed, the seat post down holds it all together.
