I've had this '94 Zaskar frame since '96. I am kinda attached to that goofy fork. Kinda attached to that SRAM grip shift (stop laughing 🤣🤣). I've had it as a Hulked up cruiser for a while. Not sure what to do with it. It was great on the trails for a while but modern geometry and better components have put this in the garage for most of the time. Should I keep it as is or should I do something else with it?

Keep the fork as a wall hanger, put a fox float of some variant, upgrade the tires to something more aggressive, and go ride the fuck out of your favorite traill.

Edit, a zoke air is a solid choice too. A solid/well serviced 100mm fork will make you fall in love with that bike again.

  2. I mean if you’ve got space I’d prolly just keep it as an around only town cruiser like you said.

You might think about taking the bling off just cause i don’t really like worrying about locking up my “about town” bike as aggressively and the bling will draw eyes even for an older rig.
