I got into riding bikes last year on hybrid. Did a few 100K rides and just enjoy riding when the weather is good. Looking to buy a road bike. I was initially looking into spending ~3K CAD but figured I am not serious/competitive enough to justify that kind of price. I kept hearing Decathlon bikes are very good so am seriously considering buying this RC500 road bike.
Is this a good bike? Should I wait a bit hoping it would go on sale but then I'm worried it will go out of stock and I wouldn't have a bike ready for April when the weather gets better.
