I think it’s like 15 years old so probably not the best tbh. Helmets do have a shelf life from my understanding, plastics get brittle and foam loses its firmness. I don’t think I’d use it
Helmets are the one thing I don’t cheap out on. You only have one brain. I know they are pricey to buy a new one but do yourself a favor, especially if your going to ride down hill. Spend the money and invest in a good quality helmet.
yeah I bought a high end one 2 seasons ago, but wrecked pretty bad helmet was done , head was okay and I have invested in the bike alot getting it prime. So gear was last on my list for invested hobbies. I might take and see if it’s good hopefully not but I’ll give it a go it fresh , still has box wasn’t worn just shelfed as a spare and dude was cleaning and sold his stuff..lol
