I saw this double u-lock recommendation on bikeindex.org and it made me wonder where I could fit two locks on my bike without requiring a rear rack.

I’m aware of the Huldit system, but unfortunately those wouldn’t work well with my setup.

After looking over where there’s room, I realized that my carbon rigid fork has 3-pack mounts on each leg of the fork. It would be perfect to mount a U-lock on each fork leg.

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find any such mount. Most appear to be designed to tighten around a round frame tube. I’m looking for a mount that holds the lock basically almost flush up against the fork legs.

I suspect a U-lock mount like this doesn’t exist because the standard assumes you’ll be mounting it in your main frame triangle somewhere and trying to use a mount like that would result in the u-lock being perpendicular to the frame and would stick out the sides. But, I’d figure I’d throw this out there in case there is a niche company making such a thing.

Thanks!
