This is a Bold Linkin LT, bought it for a steall off of Jenson this past september. I ride hard, techy enduro and the occasional park rip. The bottom bracket started creaking and when inspected, my mechanic noticed this on the rear triangle-linkage interface when fixing said creak.

I’m afraid of not being able to get a warranty replacement because they are kind of going under (pause in activity until current inventory is sold). Do they just have rear triangles laying around?

What’s you guys’ forcast for my situation?

  1. Do we look like weathermen? Send their warranty department an email, this should certainly be covered but if there’s no company left or no replacements left you’re going to be SOL.

  2. You know what. I bet the manufacturer would be able to answer this question pretty quick for ya.

  3. Bold was bought by Scott Sports in 2019 so it’s not “going under”. Not sure what the situation is as far as warranty service but they did not fold.

Scott is very much using their internal shock designs now.
