Wondering if anyone has done the route, would you recommend a hardtail or a gravel bike? Deciding between a Salsa Timberjack or Salsa Cutthroat. It seems like wide tires are more important than suspension? Would love to know what you rode and how it went.
I’ve been riding \~100 miles per week around Seattle and definitely super nervous about the altitude but just going to dive in and hope for the best… any tips appreciated!
