Not long had this bike took it out 5 times and have noticed that the front brake arms are both leaning towards one side resulting in one pad almost rubbing against the rim not sure if it’s meant to be like this or not brakes still work

Usually these brakes have small screws (phillips head or small hex) at the arms near the pivots. These screws adjust the tension of springs at the arms which pull them away from the rim, and the balance between the two will center the arms.
PS the balance doesn’t need to be perfect as long as both arms move in response to manipulating the lever, the pads hit the rim at the right spot, and there is no rubbing. The brake will have good stopping power even if not perfectly centered.
