  1. There should be a nut securing the cassette to the hub. Usually has inner splines. At least as far as I know. Maybe this is a different setup

    Just note that the whole freehub body came off. Not just the cassette (so if you wanted to replace the cassette, you still have to remove it from the freehub body).

    Usually doesn’t slide off when the lock ring is on. But yah when everything is off it just slides off some Tyne

  4. Free hub body and the cassette came off, not just the cassette. And yeah, this is common thing.

    Just press it back on there holding one of the pawls in so it can lock in, and then spin it to the left and the rest should lock in.

    Yes, some hubs easily come apart for service such as DT Swiss hubs.

    What do you mean by factory hubs? You mean OEM hubs?

  6. Yes, just make sure the pawls don’t come out the freehub body because they ere easily lost.
