So I found this for 40€ on a local craigslist like website and I pulled the trigger on it. The shifter was not working so after a little googling I found that this had a simplex derailleur and I had to loosen the high and low screws connected to the parallelogram part.
This is my first time riding a vintage bike.
I noticed that I’m having to switch my grip to the drops in order to brake. Is that normal?
I’d love to know if you guys have any tips / suggestions for the bike!
