  1. Make sure your tires have the right amount of air. If the pressure is too low, it will be sluggish.

    Also, check that your seat height is correct. Your knee should only have a slight bend at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Just going by the seat position, the seat is probably too low or the bike may possibly be too big.

    Mountain bikes aren’t idea for commuting, they are made more more trails and will be slower than a road bike or a hybrid bike, but should be fine for shorter rides.

    I used to commute through amsterdam on a trek marlin 7, 12km and I kinda still miss it. Mtbs can be really great for commuting
