Did you know Belarus is emerging as a key player in geopolitics and the global economy? 📈 Despite being an overlooked nation, Belarus has carved out a strategic importance in Eastern Europe, balancing ties between Russia, China, and BRICS nations while facing Western sanctions. From its post-Soviet history to its economic potential, we explore how Belarus defied expectations and continues to influence international relations.
Alexander Lukashenko, often called the “last dictator of Europe,” has led Belarus politics for three decades, shaping its foreign policy and economic resilience. Despite Belarus sanctions from the EU and US, the country maintains strong relations with Russia and China, securing investment through the China Belt and Road Initiative and deepening ties with BRICS nations.
🚜 Belarusian economy thrives with self-sufficiency, excelling in agriculture, manufacturing, and industry while navigating Western sanctions impact. As a trade hub within the EAEU, CSTO, and Union State, Belarus plays a critical role in regional influence.
🗳️ The 2020 Belarus protests, sparked by contested Belarus elections, saw Svetlana Tikhanovskaya emerge as a key opposition leader. Yet, Belarusian resilience prevailed as the government countered attempts to disrupt Belarus sovereignty.
🌍 Belarus and the Global South: As Belarus BRICS membership strengthens, its multipolar world vision aligns with emerging global trends. Could Belarus modernization reshape Belarus vs EU, NATO, and US relations?
🎥 While this video highlights Belarus’s strategic role, foreign policy, and economic potential, it does not delve into Belarus travel experiences, Minsk tourism, or Belarus living standards in-depth. Nor does it explore the full impact of Western sanctions on Belarusian society.

🤔What if the Western narrative about the "last dictator of Europe" is missing crucial context? The country's economic resilience despite sanctions and its growing partnerships with China and BRICS partners tell a different story.
Here's what struck us most: Belarus maintained stability and social protections while many post-Soviet states faced economic turmoil. Their healthcare approach during C*VID also proved interesting – sometimes going against the global consensus requires courage. What's your take?
Has Belarus found a unique development path that works for its people?
Do you think the growing China-Belarus partnership will reshape regional dynamics?

You lost me with the antivax nonsense.
Excellent presentation keep up the good work
The West gets paid and selected folks due to industrial lobbying, no incentive given at present to hire Young talent it seems from all the discourses over the internet, only the old folks keep jobs who dont want to vacate their seats because in old age their wives/husbands have died & argue about building new high-rises and parking spaces. Whereas USA with 1/5th or 1/4th the population of India & 3x as much land does not seem keen to give away passports because "Democracy" truly works & the UK that perpetually imports more food than it exports wants to teach Farmers about farming. Are these people even standing in line at Belarus embassy to work there/live there, change citizenships ? There is a word for that – jealousy.
Super Congratulation BRICS❤❤❤❤❤ 💯💯 WORLD WIDE TOGETHER 💯❤️

Belarus is like a Diamond in the Rough waiting to be polish and shine 😊
White Russia!!!
AS SOON AS BELARUS 🇧🇾 PUT THE NUKES AND ORESHNIK ON ITS TERRITORY THE EUROPEAN COUNTRIES COULD NOT SAY ANYTHING OR DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND THAT'S HOW MUCH POWER THE NUKES AND THE ORESHNIK GOT AND SCARED THE EUROPEAN NATION
A world without foreign interference and sanctions will bring some peace. Brics nations for mutual benefits through trades, respect and cooperations is the way to go. Go Brics..
That was CIA instigating that uprising the west are the most demonic evil wicked people Belarus people need to learn and dig deeper then look at Ukraine then see what's happening the west don't care.
Belarus was the only country in the world to handle C-19 correctly. They lived life normally and if you felt sick you went to bed for a few days and then carried on. No lockdowns, no masks, no shutdowns, all events continued normally and their health results were no different than any other country in the world. They did not ruin their economy and take away their peoples freedoms in the name of big pharma. Lukashenko is a very few world leaders who truly loves his country and people and does what is best for them. He is not out to enrich himself like western politicians.
Within GOSPLAN, Belarus was the supplier of semi-conductors – as simple as they have been – to Soviet 'resort competing' computing (unlike US DARPA, every state institution hoped to develop a prestigious Soviet intranet of their own), communications, manufacturing and aviation, thus becoming indispensable to a modernizing Russian economy after the collapse of the Union.
Which is arguably the main reason for CIA 'Regime Change' operations – not just being 'a weak link', but a strategically crucial link – the same way, an independent Ukraine was until the CIA coup of 2014 when naval gas turbine and aviation engine and space industry components trade was halted, forcing Russia to rapidly substitute respective production (in fact halting the construction of several naval guided missile frigates), severing ties that held for 25 years after the independence of Ukraine.
One could probably say more on the concept of the 'Union State' with the Russian Federation, but one should also note that it is not in Russian interest to integrate former Soviet republics within the federation as administrative overstretch was already a problem of the Soviet Union when regions were too dissimilar in development in order to benefit from nation wide policies (currency, tariffs, social policies, cultural identities and practices). Developing modes of economic integration and common market without a formal political union will be a necessity in order to restore a European Collective Security and trade – especially when looking at the failures of the European Union that drew e.g. the Greek youth into Germany, leaving Greece as an economic husk of unsolvable TARGET debt to the European Central Bank as if German occupation had never ended.
These are the profound challenges, apart from defeating NATO, militarily (which in my opinion will never be resolved, diplomatically due to the lack of an entire generation of pragmatic scholars and diplomats in the West)…
First of all: Belarus is no independent country. It is 100% under Russian control and anything coming from Belarus is controlled from Kremlin. Make no mistake.
I love Belarus <3 -greetings from Denmark!

❤❤ BRICS ❤❤
Belarus approximates what the USSR would have looked like today had it still existed.
I love Belarus flag so much, the one from Kazakhstan too is gorgeous. It's like a beautiful tapestry design.
Alexander Lukashenko reminds me of my Grandfather, his personality and his size… Grand dad was a very forceful man, and took no guff from anyone. He started as an office boy, working up to senior management. But he was a Labour supporter all his life. He believed that any party that supported his workers was good for the company. I think Lukashenko would understand.
Why BRICS do not help Russia?
Es scheint, der Westen muss weg. Sonst gibt es keinen Frieden.
It seems that the West must go. Otherwise there will be no peace.
