  1. The LT looks like a great trail bike for the riding I do. I could see it accompanying my enduro rig for a sick 2-bike quiver.

It’s aesthetic, but I like the white paint job on these quite a bit as well.

  2. Yet another bike release with a ‘mullet flip chip’… But the page only displays geo for the high and low settings in 29er, where the chip changes 0.4 degrees at the seat but 0.5 degrees and the head tube?

That’s on the SL model. On the LT model the chip changes the seat the same, but the headtube only changes 0.3 degrees there… ? lol

While the FAQ just generically says the chip changes 0.5 degrees on the bike (universally)… And also implies that chip is appropriate for running 27 in the rear. 😬 reckon I’d like to see the actual BB drop number when you mullet this thing, even in high mode

  3. The trailcat lt is so close to the switchblade especially since that was just updated a year ago. The idea of having different travel settings is cool but a 10-15mm difference to me isn’t worth the hassle in swapping things out. Something with 20-30mm would be more beneficial to a customer imo. I do like the colors they went with but not enough wow factor for me to upgrade. I’ll keep my shadowcat mullet 140/140. Been a solid bike that’s eaten up every mile I throw at it.

  4. This seems unremarkable in a crowded segment and really expensive. I’ve never been a Pivot fanboy, but you’d really have to be to pull the trigger at MSRP.
