I’m looking for a 26” adult enduro. Which is pretty much a slopestyle these days but I still want gears for climbs, anyway..
there’s this old giant 26” for sale,
My question is:
If I was to buy for the frame, would I have a hard time getting all new parts to fit, building a bike.

yes cos it is all old standards
Quality QR hubs could be a challenge and it’s more likely that you’ll need to go with custom built wheels instead of prebuilt.
You’re unlikely to be able to use an internally routed dropper post
The shock will likely be the hardest part but it seems a bit of good money chasing after bad to try to refresh a bike like that completely.
What’s the goal with a 26″ enduro – slopestyle or enduro for a smaller rider or? Because an older bike like that is not going to have good geo for modern enduro riding.
Why do you want 26 inch wheels? You’re just gonna be limiting yourself to super old and outdated bikes and components.
