$100 as is as long as nothing is wrong with it. but depending on your area you could get more or less.

Someone customized the flat bar config it currently sports. It was a drop bar bike with Sora Brifters. Someone added downtube shifters and the flat bars with end extensions.

    BTW….It is a 1997 Trek 1400 Triathlon/ Trainer.

Have you taken a close look at this bike and checked out if its been wrecked i.e. a crack in the frame area?

    Wheels that don’t run true?

It has bearings that are shot?

If it passes all of this then the price for this bike can always be researched by this link…TREK.com/bicycles model 1400 series.

I’d say €150. Nice brakes, nice wheels and the frame looks solid. I’d buy it

  5. That’s a nice ride for $150. If you got an old steel 660 or similar it would be $300-600 because they last forever if there’s no rust. Aluminum has a finite life span though. At some point the frame just cracks.

  6. 50 dollars, cheap Taiwan/Kinesis Alu frame probably, would ride harsh. Weird miss match of components, weird flat bar conversion. I am afraid of alu forks, but then again I steer away from carbon forks too.

  7. Considering you have to swap that embarrassing bar conversion back before someone sees you, I wouldn’t pay more than $80

  8. I, personally like these old road bikes. I can really get to FLYING down the road on one of these bad boys.
As far as price goes……. It really depends on condition of oi I
