The SX crank is just the arms and direct mount ring. I suppose that could work if you want just arms and haven’t come to hate powerspline yet.

No. Appleman cranks are one option with this modular 3- piece design.

How come you need them separating? The spindle is probably pressed into the NDS arm, and isn’t intended to be removed. If you need three-piece cranks, BMX cranks might be what you’re after, or square taper.
