Domane AL3 is a fine bike but that doesn’t seem like that great a deal, you can still find those on closeout for $1200. Also is that the correct size for you?
The new [AL 2 Gen 4](https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bikes/road-bikes/performance-road-bikes/domane/domane-al/domane-al-2-gen-4/p/41587/?colorCode=greydark) is similar and cheaper. 8 speed vs 9 for the Gen 3. Or spend a few hundred more for AL 4 Gen 4 for significant upgrades over both bikes. 10 speed, hydraulic disc brakes.
