Hi! I am currently rebuilding this unknown bike with Tange TR markings on the frame and fork. It has a braze-on mount with “Everest” written on it. Upon doing some research, my best bet is that it is from Fuji. But I cannot find any references about Fuji Everest. Any inputs would be really helpful!!!

Do you have a picture of the entire frame?
hard to say with just these pics and not the full frame and the rest of the lugs. fork crown looks like Nervex, plus the tange dropouts- my shot-in-the-dark guess would be a japanese made raleigh. Could be anything with those braze ons though. need to see/know more.
“Everest makes parts for bike frames, like this derailleur braze on. If you Google “everest bicycle frame parts” you’ll see some other examples. Anyone can use their parts so that doesn’t tell us who made the frame.”
More pictures of the whole frame would be helpful. Is there a headtube badge?
Its probably an everest
Does the serial number start with the letter N? If so, it could be a Raleigh made with Japanese tubing.
The “everest” part is just the derailleur braze on, and the “Tange” part is just the front dropout. Practically any builder with any kind of tubing could have used those, but it does hint that the bike was likely from the later eighties, when that kind of front derailleur mount appeared, and possibly Japanese or Japanese tubing. Honestly though, you need to show more pictures. Show pictures of the bottom bracket shell, the headbadge area, the rear dropouts, the seat tube lug, and any serial number you happen to find.
