I need help pls. Just bought a new pair of hayes dominion a4s. The front brake is fine, but the rear after installing and bleeding (followed the hayes instructions) this happens. Tried to rebleed but still the same.
check for any leaks in the system, maybe something is not sealed properly. Definitely re-bleed.

I had this problem with a pair of hope brakes. I had to have the master cylinder and seals replaced because there was a leak. Could be air, but if it persists after a couple bleeds I would send it for warranty.

If you haven’t seen it already, Hayes has a really good video on bleeding procedure on YouTube. I find it very helpful to have the frame tilted up considerably to get the air out. Great choice on the brakes, you will really enjoy them
