Balaton is the largest lake in Central Europe and one of Hungary’s foremost touristic destinations. In the course of a popular annual bicycle race, a little over 4 and a half hours is sufficient to circle its 200 km long shoreline. Nevertheless, we truly believe that one should spend at least a week to discover this scenic and culturally diverse region.
