  1. That is unfortunate, those wires don’t break easily.

Noticed in the caption you were running in the proper psi range, so unless you for some reason took them off to attempt folding them in weird ways or a person in the supply chain did. That looks like a manufacturing defect.

I really am not feeling taking mine off to check until spring.

I know mine are really stiff and not easy to get on and off the rim. I was afraid of damaging my tires with the levers putting them on.

  3. I have 6-month-old Fincci smooth tires on my MTB. I love riding these on my 50-50 pavement/gravel route.

Today I went to change out a tube and I noticed that one of the beads cracked on the front tire.

I was surprised with that from a 6-month-old tire.

The bead doesn’t break that easy typically. If there’s no signs of drying out then i suspect this to be a factory defect issue. In the future, a folding bead won’t experience this issue at all.

Edit: hey, look just below the tread. It’s stamped like the bead area for some reason? I am now very confident that this is a factory defect. I’ve sold hundreds of these and never seen one like that.
