Around 10-15 year old Suntour XCR 29 V3 fork, spring on dust seal got messed up.

Very easy. Undo nuts/bolts at bottom of legs, pull lower off, if one seal is still in place prise it out with a plastic tyre lever or carefully with a flat screwdriver, slide the bushes out, clean everything, replace bushes if old ones are worn, press new seals in, should be easy enough to do by hand but if not gently tap the edges down until it’s flush, put a little bit of lube on the inside of the seal and reinstall the lower onto the stanchion, turn it upside down and refit, nuts/bolts and you’re done
The hardest is already done…. getting the old seals out.

unless you have the dust wiper seals, suspension oil, slickoleum, crush washers (if needed for this type), and tools (eg; seal drivers or access to a 3d printer or…?) already you will be paying enough $$ to repair as you would to buy up several of these forks.

Use silicone grease? Not sure about this brand…
