After riding the Rebellion Way a couple of weeks ago it was time to ride in my home county of Suffolk…..The Wolf Way. This time I had my partner in crime who some describe as half-man half-beast but known to many as “Wolfy” in tow.
This route was much tougher than anticipated and we found out quickly we didn’t allow enough time for it…..hence we missed some bits of the route some of which was attributed to both of our Garmins on day one freezing up when trying to load the official v2 Wolf Way gpx (we edited in Strava and deleted some waypoints which messed things up). We rode as much of the route as we could be do not feel left out as the places we missed off we are familiar with.
This video gives you a taster of what is on offer for this route… if you’re going to ride it make sure the ground is hard and if possible add some suspension to your bike! Regardless of my moaning now and again in the video we had a really good time. The ride started early evening on the 3rd of May and finshed late on 5th May 2024.

Absolutely superb video & a great summation of the "Wolf Way" – top notch π βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
Great video of The Wolf Way. Thank you for documenting it. You really were unlucky with the weather on day 1, it certainly messed the trails up for you.
Such a shame you had to cut some of the coast out (my favourite). The route you followed is slightly outdated now, the updated route includes Beccles but not St Peterβs brewery as it is no longer open to the public (a real shame).
Absolutely superb drone footage of the Bures Dragon too and
Pleased to see you featured our house too π
A great watch, really enjoyed seeing our route come to life. ππΌ
That looked quite a pleasant route. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this. I just finished the Rebellion Way and was looking for another loop. But looking at the terrain I think I'll give this a miss!
I'm doing Ipswich – great yarmouth next year. Most i've ever done is felixstowe so it'll be a challenge as i only really cycle during the warmer months!
