I see a lot of discussion around air travel with a Brompton, but has anyone had any experience of taking one on a cruise ship? Would love to know if it's possible and to hear your experiences.

Yep perfectly possible I’ve done it, but some cruise ships are less accommodating than others so it takes a bit of research.
It is possible. Though on our trip, we confused the whole staff with our “vehicles” and made us wait until all people, motorbikes, cars, and trucks were loaded. To see where our folded bikes would fit? God knows.
Then on exit they didn’t want to open the cargo deck, because we didn’t have a car written on our tickets… so yeah, be careful and plan it.
For clearance, we weren’t on a cruise, but a ferry.
