Noob here. Looking to replace my SRAM hydraulic calipers. Unsure if the distance between the bolts on the frame is universal or not. If relevant, I'm planning on replacing them with Shimano Deore LX.
Yes, it’s an IS standard caliper mount. Should be 51mm between the hole centers.
Though I don’t think I’ve ever seen a caliper that bolts directly to it, typically you’ll need an IS-to-post mount adaptor and depending on the size of your brake disc you might need another adaptor or hunt for one that goes up to the size you need.
Edit: You’ll probably be able to just bolt up the new caliper to the existing adaptor.
What’s wrong with your current one out of curiosity?
