Look 566 (2012) for $1100?

Recently the student bike co-op I volunteer at got some modern rim-brake groupset components donated, so I’ve been looking for a good project road bike. Rim-brake frames in my size are scarce in my area, so I’ve mostly been looking for good bikes that are mostly complete.
Currently the seller is asking $1100 and says they could do a max discount of 10%, which seems a bit steep for its age. Is it advisable to try and negotiate it down more (like $700ish) or just give up on it? Thanks!
