Hi guys,
I went into my private basement storage in Hamburg, Germany, on Thursday (30.01.), only to find that my Aeroad—ridden just twice—was gone. I bought it in October last year and customized it to my liking. The theft must have happened between 28.01. and 30.01., as I check the storage regularly.
I know the chances of recovering it are slim, but maybe someone comes across it or is offered some of its parts.
I’ve already reported it as stolen to the police, my insurance, and various dedicated bike theft platforms. I also informed Canyon and made some posts about it on social media. Additionally, I’m monitoring all common sales platforms regularly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Bike details:
• 2025 (new model) Aeroad CF SLX 8 Di2, size M
• Frame serial number: R10701H24C0639
Add-ons:
• DT Swiss ERC1100 45 with a double sticker set (for pro riders) and Continental GP 5000 tires with black Tubolito PTUs
• Canyon Pace Aerodrops with Silca bar tape
• Selle Italia SLR Boost 3D Carbon Saddle
• Elite bottle cages
• Canyon Flash 800 light and Wahoo mount
I know the bike is insured, and in hindsight, it wasn’t the smartest idea to leave such an expensive bike in the basement. However, I’ve kept my other bikes there for years without any issues. So trust me, I’m already blaming myself enough.

Scheiße! Das ist beschissen!
💔
Sorry to hear but would never even think about to keep this in a publicly accessible place in a bigger city like Hamburg.
Always keep your bike in the apartment.
Sorry for the loss bro! Such a beautiful bike
I’m really sorry to hear. I hope it can be found. Keep an eye out on marketplace in the coming weeks/months. Someone must’ve seen you putting the bike in or taking it out, i.e. targeted.
PSA: put an airtag on the bike, there are many ways to do this, one is a saddle attachment. also put your bike in your apartment and not in a storage room.
Sorry mate
