
The chainline is terrible at this point I can put most the spacers on the non drive side but then it messes up the QF. Also their preload bolt is some crappy proprietary thing that screws onto the non drive side crank arm that doesn't screw out far enough so I had to put another preload bolt on as you can see in the pic. Almost 600 dollars for this thing that can't even make a 1x right.

Very likely that crank was not designed for the old BB30 standard in mind (68mm BB shell with internal bearings). Rotor makes their cranks around essentially the BB386 standard (86mm shell with internal bearings). Within the manual may be a specific spacer setup for BB30. Which specific Rotor crank is this?

– This is an Aldhu carbon crank, yeah?
– Did you get the standard Rotor 30mm axle, or the offset one?
– Given the narrow tire and the BB30 BB, I’m presuming this bike has a QR135 or TA142 rear axle?
– What actual chainline are you trying to achieve?
– And probably most importantly, why are you not simply asking Rotor directly for help on this?
I really don’t see why you’re having an issue here. Rotor’s [shop page for their 30mm spacer kits](https://rotoramerica.com/collections/road-accessories/products/road-spacer-kit) explicitly mentions compatibility with BB30. It doesn’t look like you are using that spacer kit. [This manual](https://rotoruk.co.uk/v2CLI/VSX003/PDF/Spacerchartpoweraldhuvegast.pdf) tells you exactly what spacers you need from that kit (for a 68mm BB30, it appears you’ll need 11.8mm of spacer on each side, which can be achieved with a D spacer + an E spacer). Unless you are trying to achieve a chainline that is wildly outside the normal 43~49mm range, this should be an easy matter of just getting the right parts.
And in case that 11.8mm of spacers on each side upsets you, remember that BB30 is one of the narrowest BB shell types in existence. If you’re fitting a modern wide spindle crank onto it, you’re gonna have a lot of spacers. Same thing would happen with a HTII, DUB, or BB386 crank.
Rotor make two different length crank axles. Check if that one is the longer of the two
unrelated but what’s going on with that shift cable routing
