Trying to fix up my old gravel bike. Last time I rode it the chain suddenly came loose due the the rear derailleur playing up. The jockey wheel won’t swing back down into its proper position and it’s locked up tight. Any advice on how to fix would be appreciated.

I would take the cage off and remove the cage axle. Clean and check internal parts for damage. I would guess it’s clutch spring related.
