Bought in November 2023 as backup tires, stored until a month ago. Not even 100 km ridden. I have them usually at between 85-90psi.
I’m assuming this must be either super old stock or defective. This is the bike I use for groceries and picking up packages. Would you ride it or throw it out in the trash immediately?

So long as the canvas is fully intact, I wouldn’t worry about that.

Holding air? No history of flats? Ride them. It’s a good idea with tires to have replacements, though, especially if you’re running on older tires.

What kind of riding are you doing? It looks like you have flat pedals so I assume it’s not going to be anything crazy or that you are going to be pushing the tyres sidewalls to the limit.
If it’s just city cruising or a bit of commuting, I really wouldn’t worry too much about this.
Maybe get some new ones in the near future but I wouldn’t stop pedaling right away because of this. It doesn’t pose any immediate danger.

Nah, you can send that

Also unless you are a heavy person you shouldn’t need to run 90 psi in a 32c tyre. I weigh 85kg and use 30c tyres at about 65psi for reference.

Yah they are runnable, I am a tire snob though and love getting new tires if I can afford them

If you get some tpu tubes you’d get away with running them at around half that pressure. That’s probably the route I’d go.

If you are throwing away tires because of those, you will be throwing them out once every month!
